Chosen, Not Overlooked: How Jesus Sees the Masterpiece Within You

Chosen, Not Overlooked: How Jesus Sees the Masterpiece Within You

How many times have you looked in the mirror and seen only your flaws? How many times has the world passed you over, making you feel invisible, unqualified, or simply "not enough"?

We’ve all been there—standing in the rejection of a room that wouldn’t make space for us, carrying the heavy weight of other people’s opinions. But here is the truth the world tries to drown out: Humans look at the outward appearance, but Jesus looks straight at your heart. And what He sees when He looks at you isn’t a lost cause, a mistake, or a reject.

He sees a masterpiece.

When everyone else said no, Jesus stepped up and said yes. When the pain of life tries to break you down, He is lovingly stripping away everything that was never meant to be yours in the first place—not to hurt you, but to heal you.

As the Apostle Paul reminds us in Ephesians 2:10 (NLT), "For we are God's masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago."

You might feel like no one ever picked you first, but Jesus already has. In John 15:16 (NIV), He whispers directly to your soul: "You did not choose me, but I chose you..."

It’s time to stop letting the world define your worth. It’s time to let the Healer take the broken pieces and use them for His glory. Your pain has a purpose, and your story isn't over yet. Let Jesus love all of you—because He is ready to use all of you.
