God I am saying YES to the call

In the quiet whispers of the night,

A gentle tug, a flickering light,

God, I am saying yes to the call,

To rise, to wander, to give it my all.

Through valleys deep and mountains high,

With faith as my compass, I’ll reach for the sky,

In the face of doubt, I’ll stand up tall,

With courage ignited, I answer the call.

Each step a promise, each breath a prayer,

Embracing the journey, I shed every care,

With love as my armor, I’ll never fall,

For in every heartbeat, I hear the call.

Through storms that may rage and shadows that loom,

I’ll carry the light, dispelling the gloom,

With grace as my guide, I’ll never stall,

For every adventure, I’m ready to haul.

God, I am saying yes, though the path may be steep,

In the arms of the unknown, my spirit will leap,

In unity and service, I’ll stand for them all,

With an open heart, I am answering the call.

So let the winds blow and the rivers run wild,

With trust in the promise of the Divine Child,

For in every moment, big or small,

I am here, I am willing, I’m saying yes to the call.

Increased devotion to prayer and scripture study: A growing desire to deepen your relationship with God through prayer and studying religious texts.

Alignment with your gifts and talents: Recognizing natural abilities that can be used to fulfill your calling.

Confirmation through community: Receiving encouragement and support from others who recognize your potential calling

Journey to Divine Love

 Fontessa's Journey to Divine Love

In a small, forgotten town nestled between mountains and rivers, Fontessa Harris, a fiercely independent young woman, grapples with her perception of love and worth. Raised in a broken home, she lost her parents at a young age and was thrust into the harsh realities of life alone. The void of familial love left her emotionally guarded, hardened by betrayal and disappointment. As she maneuvers through the complexities of adulthood, Fontessa often wonders, "Who really loves you in this thing called life?"

Amidst the struggle, Fontessa encounters an elderly woman named turtle blue, who becomes a mentor and unwavering support. turtle blue,a devout woman filled with wisdom about faith and love, introduces Fontessa to the concept that true love emanates from God. As Fontessa spends time with turtle blue, she begins to hear stories of divine love, compassion, and unconditional acceptance that transform her perspective on relationships.

One evening, feeling particularly lost, Fontessa wanders to a serene hilltop overlooking her town. As she gazes at the stars, Fontessa feels a profound sense of connection to something greater than herself. In that moment of vulnerability, she silently cries out to God, reflecting on her loneliness and longing for familial love. To her surprise, she receives a vision—a comforting warmth envelops her, and for the first time, she feels a tenderness that transcends her hardened heart. She realizes that God is the father and mother she never had, and in that understanding, she begins to soften.

Fontessa’s journey doesn’t come without challenges. Confronted by her past traumas, she struggles to let go of the bitterness that has defined her life. But with turtle blue, guidance and her newfound understanding of divine love, Fontessa begins to heal. She learns that love is not just about receiving; it’s also about giving. She starts to engage with her community, fostering connections with neighbors and helping those in need, which brings her the fulfillment she so desperately sought.

As the seasons change, Fontessa’s heart continues to blossom. She writes letters of gratitude to God, expressing her newfound love and appreciation for the family that she has found through faith and service to others.

In a pivotal moment, she helps organize a community event aimed at uniting the townsfolk, many of whom also suffer from feelings of isolation and neglect. As she facilitates support and love within the community, Fontessa sees reflections of her journey in others, realizing that love, like God, manifests in many forms.

Ultimately, Fontessa confronts her past, forgiving those who hurt her and embracing her true self—vulnerable but supported by the loving presence of God. As she stands atop that hill once again, she no longer feels empty; instead, she feels overflowing with divine love. In her heart, she knows that love comes from God, and it is through experiencing and sharing that love that she has truly begun to live.

Fontessa's Journey Home

Fontessa sat in the corner of the dimly lit café, cradling her lukewarm cup of coffee.

The rain tapped lightly on the windowpane, its rhythm mirroring the storm that raged inside her heart.

Once again, she found herself lost in thought, her mind wandering through

the abyrinth of her past—a past tinged with heartache, abandonment, and the hollow echoes

of love that never truly existed.

As a girl, Fontessa had been a dreamer, believing in fairy tales and knights in shining armor. She longed for love, for that perfect connection that would fill the void she felt deep within. With each new relationship, she hoped that this time would be different, that this time a man would see her worth. But one by one, they faded like autumn leaves, leaving her with nothing but bruises—both visible and invisible.

Her heart had been broken more times than she could count. Each disappointment chipped away at her spirit, convincing her that perhaps love was never meant for someone like her. The last relationship had been the hardest to bear, a whirlwind of passion that turned toxic in an instant. He had promised her the world, only to dismantle her piece by piece. The nights he drowned her in guilt and words wrapped in anger echoed in her mind like a haunting refrain.

Fontessa recalled the moment she hit rock bottom. It was a dreary Saturday afternoon. She found herself sitting on the floor of her empty apartment, tears cascading down her cheeks, the world outside shrouded in gray. It was then that she whispered a prayer, her voice trembling, “God, if you’re there, please help me. I can’t do this anymore.”

As the days turned into weeks, she began to rebuild the fragile shards of her life. She attended a local church, where she listened to the stories of redemption and renewal. In those sacred halls, she discovered hope—the kind of hope that her past had attempted to extinguish. She sat in the back pew, leaning into the words of grace that flowed from the pastor’s lips. With every sermon, she felt the weight of her burdens begin to lift, like a fog dissipating under the warm embrace of the sun.

Fontessa started to understand that her journey was not about finding love in the arms of another but about embracing the love that already existed within her—a divine love that was waiting to fill the void she had tried so desperately to fill with fleeting affections. Slowly, she surrendered her past to God, relinquishing her search for validation from men who only sought to hurt her. Instead, she poured her heart into her faith, learning to see herself through the eyes of her Creator.

Days turned into months, and the ache of her past began to soften. Fontessa rediscovered joys long forgotten—she painted, filling canvas after canvas with vibrant colors that danced like her newfound spirit. She volunteered at a local shelter, offering her hand to those who felt just as lost as she once had.

The more she filled her life with the goodness of God, the more she felt His love wrap around her like a warm embrace. Each time the memories of sorrow threatened to drown her, she would remind herself of the truth: that she was not defined by her past, but by the strength she had gained from it. With every day that passed, the shadow of abandonment lessened, giving way to light.

One evening, while worshiping in the quiet of her room, Fontessa felt a profound sense of peace wash over her. It was in that moment she understood that love—true love—was never meant to be found in others but in a relationship with God. She lifted her hands in surrender, tears streaming down her face, releasing the burdens she had carried for so long.

“Thank you, God,” she whispered, her heart full of gratitude. “For loving me when I felt unlovable. For filling the void that I tried to fill on my own.”

As she drifted into a restful sleep that night, she knew that while the scars of her past would always remain, they no longer held the power to define her. Fontessa had found the love she had been searching for all along. And in that realization, she could finally begin to heal.

There was a vibrant dawn awaiting her, a life renewed. Fontessa stepped out into the world with a heart brimming with hope, ready to embrace whatever came next, knowing she was deeply and irrevocably loved.

When we make the decision to 'let go and let God'

When we make the decision to 'let go and let God' we are giving up the control that we presume to have over a given situation in our life. We are kneeling at the Cross and giving God full reign over our lives. Coming into a mindset that we are not in control but God is can be scary when we don't know Him intimately.

The Bible teaches that God is in control of all things, including evil, and that he has supreme authority and absolute power:

Ephesians 1:11: "God works all things according to the counsel of his will"

Hebrews 2:8: God left nothing outside of his control

Genesis 50:20: Joseph says that God meant evil against him, but God meant it for good

Deuteronomy 10:14: "To the Lord your God belong heaven and the highest heavens, the earth and all that is in it

When we release control we give it back to GOD so now we can move in peace

Relationship with God

Having a relationship with God means having constant communication with Him – like you would to a person you are in a relationship with. It also means growing in faith as you get to know God deeper through the Bible. The Bible is one of the many ways God speaks to you.

God will accept us as we are but, we are required to change

Ephesians 4:20-24 (NIV)

You were taught, with regard to your former way

of life, to put off your old self,

which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; to be made new in the attitude

of your minds; and to put on the new self, created

change the things I can; and wisdom to know the difference.

God loves and accepts you regardless of your current situation or flaws,

he also expects you to strive for

personal growth and actively work towards positive change in your life,

aligning yourself more closely with his will.

Key points to remember:

Unconditional love:

God's acceptance is not contingent on your actions

or perfection; he loves you as you are.

Transformation through grace:

While God accepts you where you are, he also desires t

Personal responsibility:

Although God's love is unconditional, it doesn't negate

the need for personal effort to grow and improve.
